A delightful 14k gold Victorian cigar band, incised with a series of haloed stars. The pattern is interrupted with the engraved monogram "BMC" or maybe "CMB." In the 19th Century, "cigar band" referred to this popular style of wide, thin, decorated bands. There was much variety in available designs, and this is a very pretty, personal example. Circa 1880.
Details.....This ring is a size 6.25. It cannot be sized. The band measures 8.2mm wide. Please remember that a band this wide will fit more tightly. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
