This charming early Victorian Cigar Band is ringed with a minimalist floral pattern of dots and dashes rendered in 14k gold. The pattern is bordered by raised edges, sweet and simple. In the 19th century "Cigar Band" referred to this popular style of wide, thin, decorated bands. There was much variety in available designs, and this is a lovely example. Circa 1850.
